Founded in 1984, Biologie & Industrie was at first a biotechnology company making monoclonal antibodies in cancer research.
The two founders, Rémy and Sylvie BROSSEL, cancer specialists moved the company towards the service sector, and in 1992, the last mice were sacrificed. In 1991, B&I formed of 12 people installed itself at Vincennes, where the team grew to 50 people, clinical research and biometry moved in June 2001 to Montreuil, 89/91 rue Robespierre. In 1999, Biologie & Industrie started its conversion from a General CRO to a CRO specialising in cancer research, biotechnology and orphan drugs. In 2000, a second establishment was opened in Arles (13) to cover the southern regions.
The capital has increased twice: In 1989 from 50 000 to 300 000 francs and in 2000 up to 285 000 euros.
